There are several resources I wanted to share with you this month. Information that has recently been released that I feel is important to your health and the health of your family. “Food for Thought“ covers the dangers of cell phone towers and wireless radiation using birds as an example, multiple reasons for the rise in human infertility worldwide, tools for helping our kids and teens with depression and anxiety, and why we need to start looking at our food labels differently.
Birds and Wireless Technology
This recent article by cell tower activist Arthur Firstenberg discusses how an increased installation of cell towers is affecting our bird populations, specifically the Sandwich tern. Large die offs of these birds is occurring in different parts of the world. Birds may be small but they are a huge indicator of what can happen to humans. Canaries, for example, have been sent into mines for years to makes sure the air is safe for miners. Birds are also a good indication of toxicity, such as the off-gassing of Teflon chemicals when heated.
The fact that birds are dying off in droves should cause us to reflect on how our own health may have shifted over the last few years as more technology is introduced into our neighborhoods and our homes. To learn more about the many studies proving the detrimental effects of EMFs and wireless radiation, read more on Firstenberg’s website and use the search criteria mentioned at the beginning of his article. Published researchers especially well versed that you may want to follow include Dr. Magda Havas, Dr. Martin Pall, and Dr. Olle Johansson.
The good news is that you can make a difference in your own life by consciously taking steps to reduce the wireless technology you use on your body and in your home. I explain many of these steps in my online articles and my Instagram posts and videos.
Infertility on the Rise
There are many EMF and wireless radiation studies that discuss how infertility around the world has decreased due to cell phone use. It especially affects the sperm count in men who carry their phones in their pants pockets. It also affects the endocrine system of women, making it more difficult to conceive.
However, there are other reasons for the continued decline in fertility. One of those reasons was recently brought to light in a new documentary about an experimental injection program that started in Africa in the early 1970s and lasted close to 20 years. This half-hour film is definitely worth a watch.
The Q&A discussion of the film with the director and several medical doctors that follows the documentary in this same link will definitely be eye opening as well. Although this information may be shocking, know that there are ways to counteract some of the damage that is done. Strategically detoxifying the body, for example, can often be extremely helpful. For parents who are looking for more information on the current c-virus shot for children, many have found this website helpful.
Reverse Anxiety and Depression for Kids and Teens
Anxiety and depression are rampant in the world, especially since the events of the last few years. Nowhere is it more evident than in our children. However, as parents, our children also reflect our own fears and inequities. In this particular episode, Dr. Kim D’Eramo explains how addressing your own fears as a parent can diffuse anxiety and depression in your kids and teens.
Dr. Kim is a wiz at explaining how you can take personal responsibility for your own body and mind. By taking a moment to pause, look, and listen to your body, you can learn how to transmute it from a predetermined conclusion to infinite possibility. This awareness becomes your medicine, allowing you to shift the physical as well as mental, emotional, and energetic parts of yourself.
In this second video, Dr. Kim explains how to use the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping, to further diffuse anxiety in your children. A great EFT book for kids that I often recommend to my clients is Tap into Joy by Susan Jeffrey Busen. What makes this book so helpful is that it combines EFT with Energy Therapy, taking you step by step through the process and providing the exact verbiage to calm fears, negative emotions, limiting beliefs, etc. Another author you may want to check out is Dawn Huebner, PhD who has written multiple books about how to resolve worry in kids, including the book titled Outsmarting Worry.
I can also create an “Emotional eCard” for your child, which includes a custom flower essence mix along with personalized affirmations and other healing frequencies. By looking at the combination of flowers that show up in a screening, you can learn so much more about your child’s situation. During the session we also look at EMFs to see how much of a contributor it is to the depression and/or anxiety, something that is often overlooked. As Dr. Kim states, “awareness is the medicine.” Contact me if you are interested in flower essences.
Watered Down Food
You may have already noticed it. Our food products and everyday staples seems to be changing and shrinking. I have noticed this in our toilet paper: over several years the roll seems to have gotten narrower and lately the paper is getting thinner and thinner. In this article, the Healthy Home Economist gives us concrete evidence that many canned coconut milk brands are being watered down.
She explains which brands are the best. And, if you use some of her links, you will also learn about Azure Standard which is a family-owned business that provides natural and non-GMO groceries and other household products to pick-up sites all over the country. (Not unlike a COOP, there are actually several drop sites in the Nashville.) I am trying it out this month. You may want to try this alternate food source, especially if you want to stock up on some food staples. (It is cheaper in bulk.) Other alternative food and supplement sources can be found here in a previous post.
That wraps up my “food for thought” for this month.
